As a tribute to the beauty of the Italian Renaissance and the accomplishments of the Medici family S.T.Dupont has created a magical limited edition. The pens and lighters use guilloche, platinum and applications of dark green and white marble Chinese lacquer. Each piece also contains accents of . The design is based on the style of buildings of the Florentine Renaissance such as the Duomo.

The Limited Edition associates the meticulous guilloche work of the goldsmith, the art of chinese lacquer and inlay of red jasper stones.

It is composed of two pocket lighters (Line 2 and Gatsby), a ballpoint (can also be transformed into a mechanical pencil) and a fountain pen. The Line 2 lighters are limited to 3420 pieces and the Gatsby lighters and writing instruments are limited to 2420 pieces in reference to 1420 - the date of the construction of the florentine cathredral "il Duomo".

The cap is solid metal covered with platinum. The fountain pen features an 18kt gold nib and a built-in filling system.
